Chen, Chen 陳晨
Dr Chen Chen is a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Faculty of Architecture, where she works on research projects in urban scaling, urban systems and urban performance analytics. She holds a PhD in environmental science and engineering from School of Environment, Tsinghua University. Her previous research in the field of urban metabolism used several methods, such as substance flow analysis, ecological network analysis, and spatial econometrics analysis to simulate the urban material flows and explore the coordinated pollution control paths for urban agglomerations. Currently, she is focusing on linking the modelling of cities to the dynamics of the city systems from the perspectives of economy, society, and environment, to improve the sustainability of cities.
