Cheung, Fredo K. W.

Fredo Cheung is an experienced architect and architectural conservationist. Upon his graduation from HKU in architecture, he first worked at the architectural practice Leigh and Orange and later Ronald Lu and Partners, specializing in the design of institutional architecture in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and the Middle East, and winning a number of architectural awards. Upon his graduation from ACP with an MSc(Conservation), he began to develop a portfolio of conservation projects by being a heritage consultant with Purcell and the Architectural Services Department. Currently, he teaches in courses in BA(Conservation) programme, while pursuing PhD studies investigating Hong Kong’s Garden City development from the pedagogy of cultural landscape.
