Mona Yeung is a Registered Architect under the Architects Registration Board and an Authorized Person (List of Architects) under the Buildings Ordinance in Hong Kong. She is a passionate educator of architecture for the past 18 years, and is currently the programme leader of Architectural Studies in the College of Humanities and Law, HKU SPACE. She is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA), a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), an associated member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), a member of DOCOMOMO Hong Kong, and a correspondent member of DOCOMOMO Macau. She is the External Examiner for BEng Architecture (Hon) RIBA Part 1 by the University of Nottingham in Ningbo, China, as well as, a member of the Appeal Tribunal Panel and the Town Planning Appeals Board appointed by HKSAR’s Chief Secretary under the Buildings Ordinance and Town Planning Ordinance respectively. She is an active member of the HKIA serving as a member in the Board of Educational Affairs, Paper 5 Subject Panel, Professional Assessment Review Committee, and as a Professional Assessment Advisor to professional assessment candidates.
