Jersey Poon received a BSc Architecture from the University of Bath, before completing her Masters of Architecture at The University of Hong Kong.
Jersey is an architect and researcher, currently working with the design and research lab, Rural Urban Framework (RUF), based at The University of Hong Kong, led by Joshua Bolchover and John Lin, she is also an architect at District Development Unit (DDU). She has been involved in projects based in Hong Kong, China and Mongolia. And was project architect on several projects, including the Ger Innovation Hub, a community centre in Mongolia, which was a finalist in the WAF Awards 2020.
Her ongoing work and interests include the dynamics of changing community structures in developing contexts, and the spatial and urban questions that it raises, as well exploring different forms of engagement as a tool in the design process.
