Admission to the BA(Conservation) is both rigorous and competitive.  ACP encourages applications from students with a broad range of academic and cultural interests, with students from both arts and science streams being accepted.  Strong proficiency in spoken and written English is compulsory.  Non-local students may need to show competency in the English language.  Final selection of applicants to the BA(Conservation) programme is by means of an interview.

4+1 Degrees offered by the Faculty of Architecture at The University of Hong Kong

BSc(Surveying) + MSc(Conservation)

BA(Conservation) + MSc(Real Estate) / MSc(Construction Project Management)

We are pleased to announce a reciprocal 4+1 Degree option, to better prepare the graduates of both the Bachelor of Arts in Conservation and the Bachelor of Science in Surveying for the growing demand for knowledge in multiple disciplines and interdisciplinary solutions to complex problems in the built environment. BA(Conservation) graduates (with an upper second-class honours classification, or above) have the option to be admitted to the Master of Science in Real Estate or Master of Science in Construction Project Management, unconditionally, within 2-years of graduation. Likewise, the BSc(Surveying) graduates have the option to be admitted to the Master of Science in Conservation under the same conditions. These 4+1 options are applicable to this year’s graduates as well.

This year, both the BSc(Surveying) programme and BA(Conservation) programme have more than 90% of our students graduated with an upper second-class honours or above.
