ACP Adjunct Professor Dr. Lynne DiStefano has been invited to join the American Institute of Architects (AIA) as an Honorary Affiliate Member.
The AIA Honorary Affiliate Membership is an honour extended to “distinguished individuals not professionally eligible for AIA architect membership for their contributions in promoting the value of architecture in society and for fostering awareness of issues related to the built environment in the Chapter’s region.”
This is the first time that an Architectural Conservationist has been conferred the honour by the AIA Hong Kong Chapter. As you can see from the list of AIA HK Chapter Honorary Affiliate Membership, Lynne has joined the rank of such renounced architects as I. M. Pei and Dr. Tao Ho, as well as distinguished past Heads of the Department of Architecture at HKU and CUHK, Profs. Eric Lye and Tunney Lee.
