Abstract
In this presentation, Dr. De Vos will give an overview of the various links between travel and well-being. In the first part he will focus on travel satisfaction: the different ways of measuring it, the various elements affecting travel satisfaction, and its potential outcomes. In the second part he will focus on how transport can influence long-term well-being (e.g., life satisfaction).

About the Speaker
Dr. De Vos is an Associate Professor of Transport Planning at the Bartlett School of Planning. Jonas’ research focuses on travel behaviour, particularly on the links between (i) travel and well-being (including travel satisfaction) and (ii) travel and land use (including transport-related residential self-selection). Jonas is co-editor-in-chief of Transport Reviews, and editorial board member of: Transportation Research Part A, D and F, Journal of Transport Geography, Transportation, and Travel Behaviour and Society.
