Department of Architecture
Please join the HKU Department of Architecture for its semi annual design studio Public Forum. The Public Forum is positioned at the midpoint of each semester to foster discourse and exchange between the design studios across the undergraduate and graduate programs. The event is organized in a symposium format with studio groupings that not only try to reflect commonalities or similar research themes, but also differences in methodological approaches and tools. The emphasis of the event is a discussion of process and the next steps of each project rather than on a final design outcome. Representatives from each studio will present the studio work in five minute visual presentations in groupings of four studios per session. Panel discussions will follow each set of presentations. Please see the above schedule for more details.
