Planning Strategies for Developing Hong Kong as a “Smart City”

SMART CITY is gaining global popularity and rising importance in the public policy agenda as a new promising way to enhance quality of life and resolve urban issues. This seminar comprises presentations of a studio project undertaken by the MSc Urban Planning students from The University of Hong Kong to explore the key issues in Smart City development, examine international experiences, and recommend Smart City visions and strategic planning policies for Hong Kong.
