‘Peer Support Scheme @ FoA’ is launched to provide structured peer support for students of the Faculty of Architecture, some of whom struggle to cope with the demanding learning environment and difficulties in personal life. This workshop will guide students on becoming a skilled peer supporter through interactive case study, skills training, short lectures, group discussion, etc.
In the workshop, students are expected to learn about:
1) The role of a peer supporter
2) Emotional and behavioural signs of psychological distress
3) ‘Dos’ and ‘Don’ts’ in supporting a peer in need
4) Resources and services on professional assistance for students at FoA/HKU
Trainers: Ms Winnie Li and Ms Iris Cheng (Clinical Psychologists, Counselling and Person Enrichment Section, CEDARS)

All non-final-year FoA students are welcome!
