A guest lecture by Dr. Zhongjie LIN from University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Zhongjie Lin is an assistant professor of architecture and urbanism at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His research focuses on modern architectural avant-garde movements, theories of urban design, and contemporary urbanism in East Asia. He is the author of Kenzo Tange and the Metabolist Movement: Urban Utopias of Modern Japan (Routledge, 2010), for which he received a Graham Foundation grant, and Urban Design in the Global Perspective (China Architectural & Building Press, 2006).

The lecture will be followed by Dr. Lin’s individual consultation with students (30 minutes each) on Thursday, October 12 from 9:30 am – 12:00 pm in KB 812, Knowles Building. Students who have attended the lecture on October 11 are most welcome to participate.
