Abstract
In recent years, with the rapid development of eye tracking, functional magnetic resonance imaging and other technologies, more and more scholars in geography, cartography, architectural planning, psychology and other fields have introduced them into this field to promote the research in the cross field of geospatial cognition.

In this report, I will systematically introduce geospatial cognitive theory, experiment method and application, including geospatial cognitive theory, cognitive experiment design, cognitive data processing and analysis methods, application cases of urban wayfinding behavior, urban environmental vitality perception, urban public transport travel perception.


About the Speaker
Prof. Weihua Dong is a Professor of Faculty of Geography at the Beijing Normal University. He is also the director of the Research Center for Geospatial Cognition and Visual Analysis of Beijing Normal University. His research focuses on geospatial cognition and brain-like intelligent navigation. He is an Editor of Cartography and Geographic Information Science and an Editor of Journal of Location Based Services.
