8. Energy Systems

Cogeneration plant which uses mine gas from a disused mine

two cogeneration plant modules each supplying 253 kW electricity and 378 kW heat, one of which is operated with mine gas, and the other optionally with mine gas or natural gas

High-battery storage plant

with an output of 12 MW and an energy content of 12 MWh
functions: reduce peak demand loads; compensate system perturbations emanate from the PV system, supply emergency power
consists of 816 single batteries and weight 90 tons
