- The symposium will address the roles that political,
business, and professional communities, and the community at large, could
and should play in the process of designing public architecture and public
spaces. It will contribute to the current debates surrounding the public
architecture in Hong Kong (Central Library, Museum of Contemporary Art,
etc.), but in an expanded, international perspective.
-
- Guest speakers from Germany will discuss the planning
of Potsdamer Platz and other public places in Berlin, and will participate
in the panel discussion with Hong Kong community leaders and prominent
architects to address the past, present, and future of public architecture
in Hong Kong.
